Call Process
The process of calling a pastor is broader than finding an available pastor. During a vacancy a congregation can take the opportunity to identify and evaluate its strengths, weaknesses and vision for ministry. Once that information is gathered a congregation has a better idea of what kind of leadership gifts they need from a pastor. The Mission and Ministry Facilitator, and Circuit Counselor are people from the Presidents Office of the Texas District who are experienced, trained and available to assist.
